The Lake Chelan Realtor Council has established a new $2,000 scholarship for 皇冠8868会员登录 Valley College students. The new scholarship is a result of the council expanding its annual scholarship awards to include WVC. Money for the scholarships was raised last November at their fundraising event.

“The group was able to raise so much money at the event,” said Cora Norby, Realtor Council’s scholarship chairperson. “We felt it was a great opportunity to expand and look beyond our local Manson and Lake Chelan District, especially since we had such great support from realtors in different areas.”

The WVC基金会 scholarship will be awarded annually through the foundation’s application and selection 过程. Eligible students must be graduates of a high school in Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan or Grant counties and explain how their education will help them contribute to their community.

“The goal is building healthy, strong communities,” Norby said, “and by modifying the application, we are reaching out to more kids on who can apply.”
