WVC hosts second annual Finish Line Scholarship Fun Run in May

The 皇冠8868会员登录 Valley College 基金会, in partnership with student government on both campuses, is hosting the second annual Finish Line Scholarship Fun Run. 

The Finish Line Scholarship helps WVC students with one quarter or fewer courses left to graduate. 我们的目标是 to create an opportunity for students to complete their degree.

The fun run is May 14 in Omak and May 21 in 皇冠8868会员登录. A virtual option of a 5K or 10K is scheduled for May 6-22. 

登记 fees are $5 for students, $25 for non-students and $100 for a team of 5.  Participants who register before May 1will receive a race t-shirt. 公共汽车iness sponsorships 也可用.

“The Fun Run is the perfect event to bring students and the community together to impact the lives of those around them,” said WVC基金会 Executive Director Rachel 埃维. “We are excited to help students complete their degree at WVC.”

Last year, the inaugural fun run was held virtually and raised $2,345.

“I want to thank everyone that chose me for this scholarship,” said, WVC student Daniela, a recipient of the Finish Line Scholarship. “It will help me to further my education 更少的烦恼.”
